《reborn》
"Reborn" introduced me to the world of jazz music video editing. Initially, jazz appeared complex, but as I delved into the editing process, its subtleties emerged. Unlike conventional sad songs, jazz brought depth to sorrow – a mix of serenity and inner turmoil, determination amidst exhaustion. It beckoned me into its musical embrace.
Director Anna crafted a simple, slightly magical narrative. It portrayed a woman's journey through heartbreak, healing through a mystical fruit, and her brave rebirth. As the woman savored the fruit, thick juice oozed, vividly expressing her profound grief. I connected with the story, shedding unexpected tears as I edited.
This project embodies my vision of exceptional filmmaking. The shifts in camera angles, storytelling, and precise emotion capture unveil a profound, enigmatic healing force. Completing this work deepened my appreciation of the creative process. True art touches the depths of the soul, enduring its challenges and leaving an indelible impression.

《Reborn》是我首次嘗試剪輯純爵士的MV，雖然最初先入為主地認為爵士晦澀難懂，但實際在剪的時候，我發現爵士樂非常細膩。
舉例來說，一般聽到悲傷的歌，可能只有悲傷強度的差別，但這首爵士曲，卻能夠非常立體地表達悲傷的不同層次：平靜而暗潮洶湧、精疲力盡卻不放棄等等，耐人尋味。
於是在剪接過程中，漸漸放下當初的擔心，只管進入到音樂的世界觀裡。
而歌曲標題明確表達了「重生」的議題， 而這意味著：沒有死亡，怎能重生？
導演Anna的劇本以一個很簡單略帶奇幻的故事，講述一名女子如何在失戀的痛苦情緒中，透過一顆神奇水果，逐步療癒自己，最終勇敢釋懷，實現自我重生的故事。
當女子失神地咀嚼口中的水果，黏稠的汁液從嘴角滲出，觀眾能見證一位正在經歷重大悲傷的人類，透過「吃」的行為來讓自己感覺活著。
很巧地，這個故事也讓我深感共鳴，因為曾經經歷失戀，我能夠理解那種情感，於是首次在進行剪接時對著某顆鏡頭哭泣，久久不能自己。
也算是戲裡戲外都十分奇幻的體驗！
這部作品完全濃縮了我對一部好電影的想像，透過攝影角度的變換、情節編排、以及演員情感的精準捕捉，讓我更能感受其中所蘊含的神秘療癒力量。
完成這部作品後，我對創作有了更深層次的體悟。一部優秀的作品有能力直擊每個人內心最深處的情感，儘管過程難受，完成後也深深烙印在我的心中。
